Nature of the program
Black Hills Area Community Foundation empowers the Black Hill Community by supporting various social service organizations, awarding of scholarships for Arts & Culture students, and other programs that improve the quality of people through the Black Hills.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be an IRS-tax-exempt nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(a) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Geographic focus
The Foundations strictly awards grants to organizations located in Black Hills, more specifically the counties of Butte, Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Custer, and Fall River and nearby counties of Harding, Perkins, Haakon, Ziebach, Jackson, and Shannon.
