Nature of the program
The Rowland Foundation provides Vermont secondary school educators with a unique professional development and leadership opportunity and the resources to positively affect the culture and climate of their respective schools.

Eligibility Requirements
Any Vermont high school teacher, guidance counselor, mental health counselor or healthcare professional from a Vermont public school, from one of the state’s four independent academies, from a Vermont technical center, or from a private school where at least 50 percent of the students are publically placed may apply for a fellowship.

Grants will not be awarded for faculty or staff salaries, student travel unless sustainability can be demonstrated, capital costs (e.g. buildings or large-scale computer purchases), and Master’s degrees for the applicant.
