Open Grant Programs

FISA Foundation provides grants to nonprofit organizations in southwestern Pennsylvania that improve the lives of girls. Priority is given to initiatives focusing on empowerment, mentoring, health and wellness, issues related to teen pregnancies, and prevention and intervention in sexual abuse and domestic violence.

The Archstone Foundation has allotted a part of its giving program toward its Fall Prevention Initiative. It aims to decrease the fall incidents among elders by making fall prevention a key public health priority in California. The program also promotes the creation of effective ad comprehensive fall prevention systems.

The Arcus Foundation strives to promote and uphold for the advancement of LGBT rights, sexual orientation, gender identity, and race.

The Gloria and Joseph Mattera Foundation gives assistance to migrant young workers who have the capacity and potential to further their education to achieve their personal and career goals.

Berrien Fragos Thorn provides scholarship to foster and encourage individuals with a history of migration to obtain work in agriculture.

The Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice has been giving scholarship grants to undergraduate female students attending schools in the City University of New York (CUNY) system. In order to give students across the CUNY system support, the scholarship is made available to students of a different CUNY undergraduate institution every year.

The Gilman Foundation gives scholarship grants to graduating upper valley high school seniors. Scholarships are given to qualified senior students who graduated from one of the foundation’s named schools and one of the best qualified applicants identified.

The Ellis Foundation provides scholarship to high school seniors from low income families, primarily in the rural areas of America, with a strong focus on single parent families.

The foundation desires to enhance the capacity of individuals, families or institutions through grantmaking. The foundation supports any programs areas that lead toward systemic change.

The Prudential Foundation provides support to innovative direct-service programs that address the needs of our communities in three areas: ready to learn, ready to work, and ready to live.
