Open Grant Programs

The program will provide grants ranging in size from $1,000 to $3,000 to Asian/American arts groups and artists’ collectives that have ties to an Asian /Asian American community for projects that: preserve, reflect, or increase understanding of Asian/Asian American experience; increase the visibility, outreach, or effectiveness of your organization.

The foundation supports religious, charitable, scientific, literary, and educational programs, uses, and purposes.

The foundation offers proactive approach to helping others to succeed. It has the desire to use their resources for creative and innovative solutions to ensure the health, education, and general well-being of children, youth, and young adults so that they may achieve their full potential and become responsible, productive members of society.

The mission of the Trust is two-fold: to help improve the lives of the people in developing countries of the Middle East and to foster greater understanding of Middle Eastern culture in the United States.

The foundation supports grantees within the scope of five program areas: Higher Education and Scholarship, Scholarly Communications and Technology, Museum and Art Conservation, Performing Arts, Conservation, and the Environment.

The foundation supports initiatives to environmental resource depletion and system collapse, corporate abuses, and the concentration of corporate power, planetary carrying capacity, sustainable human population, women’s human rights with an emphasis on ending female genital mutilation, civic engagement, civil liberties, equal justice, independent media, and media policy.

The foundation provides grants to societies, organizations, and communities that are facing serious and environmental problems to make positive and rewarding improvements to these institutions. Areas of funding interest include: Education, Environment, Global Development, Performing Arts, Population, and Health.
